More About The Owner
What gets me up in the morning?
The smell of fresh coffee brewing, I really like coffee. But on a serious note, the messages I receive from someone in Nepal asking if I can help them grow Moringa in their community or sell their product, gets me up and keeps me going so that I can say yes to all those opportunities.
What do I like most about selling Moringa?
I love hearing stories from customers on how Moringa has impacted or improved their life. Also, I love creating recipes to show the fun and unique ways to incorporate Moringa into the diet.
What's my favorite way to use Moringa?
I love using Moringa in my smoothies. I have a great cashew-based smoothie recipe that is so creamy and gives me enough energy to power through my morning workouts. I also really like the Moringa energy bites. I'll make a big batch and keep them in the freezer so I can quick grab them on the go if I'm in a hurry.
What's the hardest part of starting a business?
Besides all the paperwork, the hardest part of starting a business is getting all the small details right. I'm a big picture kind of gal, so making sure all the small details are in order has been a rewarding challenge.
What's one thing I've learned about myself by starting a business?
I've learned that I have many hidden talents. I would have never considered myself a creative person but not now. A large aspect of starting a business requires creativity. Making a logo, creating a name, designing the packaging, creating a mission, marketing to customers. I am by no means an expert in any of these areas so I have learned how to reach out to those around me for help. I am so incredibly thankful for my expansive support network through this journey.
What do I like to do besides sell Moringa?
I love cooking and creating new recipes. I also love to travel. I love learning about new cultures, seeing different art and landscapes, and trying local cuisines.
